Practical Information

You can book your stay directly through our website, or by using one of the self-service kiosks on site. During the high season from May to September, as well as during public holidays, demand is high, so we recommend booking well in advance.

The motorhome site is open 24 hours a day with self-service check-in. If you have booked online, you will need your Customer No. and Booking No. (see your booking confirmation), as well as your payment card, when checking in at the self-service kiosk. You will need the same information when checking out.

At check-in, you will receive a personal PIN code, which is used for electricity, water, showers, the sauna and other paid facilities. If you have not booked online, please use the payment kiosk at either Oasen 1 or Oasen 2 to book your pitch. Bring your payment card and drive to your pitch once you have completed your check-in and received your personal PIN code for electricity, water, showers and other facilities. When checking out, you will need your Customer No., Booking No. and payment card.

Check-in: From 12:00 noon
Check-out: No later than 11:59 am

Water, showers, the sauna, the washing machine and tumble dryer are charged according to the usage registered on your personal PIN code.

A deposit of DKK 100 per day will be reserved on your payment card as security for your usage. The amount is only charged at check-out, and any remaining balance is automatically released by your bank. For foreign payment cards, the release may in some cases take up to 8–10 days.

You should only check out when you are leaving your pitch at departure. Once you check out, your pitch is automatically released in the booking system and becomes available for other guests to book.

As a general rule, all motorhomes must reverse into their pitch. The following pitches are exceptions and must be parked in front-first:

• The front row (inner circle) around the two large lakes
• Pitches 270–278

All pitches are equipped with an electrical connection of up to 13 amps.

If you wish to extend your stay, you must make a new online booking or contact our reception. You can also send us an enquiry by email. Please note that during the high season, our response time may be 1–2 days.

Please note that it is not possible to extend your stay using the self-service kiosks on site.

All 278 pitches have their own grass area and the option of an electricity connection. Your stay includes:

• Free Wi-Fi
• Grey water and toilet cassette disposal
• Waste disposal
• Access to scenic surroundings and shared facilities

Our pitches range from 5.5 to 13 metres and are located in small oases surrounded by heathland, lakes, forest and open countryside.

Yes. Dogs are very welcome at Oasen Rømø. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times within Oasen.

We have a cosy, fenced dog area where dogs can play and move around freely. There is also an outdoor dog and bicycle wash station. We kindly ask all guests to be considerate of other visitors.

If you cannot remember your PIN code, our reception staff will be happy to help. You receive your personal PIN code when you check in at the self-service kiosk, and it is printed on your receipt. The PIN code is personal and is used to register your usage of showers, the sauna, water, the washing machine and tumble dryer.

It is your responsibility to keep your PIN code confidential to prevent misuse by others.

Yes. We offer modern, well-maintained shower and toilet facilities, including private, lockable shower rooms. You will also find a sauna, washing machines and tumble dryers on site.

Yes. Both indoor and outdoor dishwashing facilities are available.

No, there are no kitchen facilities on site. However, you will find many excellent cafés and restaurants on Rømø, both in Havneby and Lakolk.

Yes. Cars with rooftop tents are always welcome at Oasen Rømø. Our site is a 100% motorhome stopover (stellplatz) and is intended for motorhomes and cars with rooftop tents.

Please note that caravans, ground tents, and awnings/tent extensions are not permitted. However, you are welcome to use an awning and a windbreak during your stay.

Caravans, tents and trailer tents are not permitted. Oasen Rømø is a 100% motorhome stellplatz and is exclusively for motorhomes and cars with roof tents. Awnings and windbreaks are permitted.

Yes. Barbecues are permitted, provided they are used safely and with consideration for others. Open fires are not permitted.

Please remember to:

• place your barbecue on gravel or another solid surface
• take weather conditions, drought and fire risk into account
• follow any instructions issued by the authorities or Oasen Rømø
• show consideration for neighbouring guests
  
  

Many guests visit Oasen Rømø to enjoy the peace, nature and relaxed atmosphere. To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we kindly ask all guests to keep noise to a minimum from 10:00 pm.

Yes. Children are very welcome. Although there is no playground on the site itself, Rømø’s nature, beaches and forests offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and adventure. There is also a large natural playground in Kongsmark.

On the afternoon of New Year’s Eve, guests are invited to gather in the community building on the main site for a New Year’s greeting and a cosy get-together. Oasen Rømø provides light refreshments. Please note that fireworks are not permitted anywhere on the site.
